About Me

Rob Stevens: I retired after almost forty years in various financial positions within several different industries. I noticed that several of the Fortune 500 sized companies for which I worked had great difficulty hiring enough qualified Chemists, Lab Techs, and Engineers of all sorts. When my wife and I were contemplating retirement we decided we both wanted to teach part time. I assumed I would teach Accounting, Finance, and Economics. However there is a demand from the local home school cooperatives for science. Therefore I am teaching Physics which I always liked and my wife is teaching Chemistry and Biology, for which she is certified to teach and was her career. This has worked out wonderfully as we are surrounded by young people and have to exercise part of our brain several days a week!
